Other Park Creatures

I hadn't seen the swan for awhile, so I wasn't particularly surprised to find him washing down stream. So much for the swoslings.

Blue starred ball out for a roll.

Sea monster trying (unsuccessfully) to hide behind skinny tree.

Blue starred ball again, not exactly making record time.
Doesn't really get the meaning of "let's roll."

You and those dead carcasses. Great pics. I especially like the blue ball and sea monster.

Can I get a sapling of such a sea monster at one of these 'plant swaps' you speak of? ;)

See, that's the problem with sea monsters. They don't come in sapling form. The children of sea monsters might not turn out to be sea monsters. They might turn into ballerinas or even writers. It's some weird DNA thing.

Come to Charmi's where you can walk in the park and meet dead animals, landlocked sea monsters and toothless, senile men who aren't afraid to reach out an grab any women in hopes that she knits (he might really need a tea cozy). I can see the brochure now.

And btw...yes I'm coming back because the sea monster is my friend and I'm dying to skip down the trails following the blue ball. :)

No wonder you write so much poetry there.

Oh, but every place has stories. You just have to want to see.

Yes, but I find some have more than others or maybe it's just easier to think in certain spaces.

Love the pictures, what is the plant swaps Ryan speaks of. I have lots of baby plants this year in the garden.

Thanks! Some of the plant loving writers are going to do a plant exchange in October. We would love to have you join us. It will be at my house and I'll be sending out details later as the time draws near. But basically we just swap things we're willing to share.

Charmi,
Sounds like a lot of fun, I am a much better gardener than and writer though. At least I have something to show for it. lol

I'm messy at both gardening and writing, but I love them both! Feel free to join us anytime.
