Auction Day

I didn't need a chicken.

Or a bust.
Or more dogs.

Obviously.

Didn't need these either.

My old friend/drive-by flower planter/local historian Bus Kelver.

I did buy books.

I wanted these badly, but they went for $2,400.

The possibilities.

You can never go wrong spending $7 on a rocking chair.

Or $5 on a desk.

No, you don't need a bust, but I could use one.

I have always wanted bookshelves with glass doors. I can see why they went for so much. My mom and dad have recently been buying some antiquish furniture to fill up their bigger house and they bought a neat little secretary's desk with a tall hutch with glass doors. My brother and I don't hesitate to say what each of us wants when our parents are dead and I called that as soon as I saw it. It's impeccable--shiny, and everything.

See, I would have bought you a bust if I had known you were shopping for one. I would definitely go with the one on the right, though.

I'm pretty sure I want nothing from my mom's house, but I'll probably get stuff anyway.

I need about 4 busts. They'd come in useful to save parking spots and whatnot in the winter.

I had a dream last night that Chad was eaten by an alligator or croc, not sure which one. However, it happened in a pond in Indiana so I think all will be well.

Was the pond in southern Indiana or northern Indiana? This could be important.

I'll put you down on the "needs a bust" list. They also had a bust of Cesaer, but it wasn't very tall. I'm not sure it would suit your needs.

Brad and I desparately want those bookshelves too. We've been looking and that is the going price unfortunately. I love auctions, and I want that green chair.

Oh, I love auctions, haven't been to one in a couple of years. My problem is having a pickup truck to bring the big stuff home. Where was this auction? It looks like from where I grew up in, Shipshewana.

Yes, I hit a couple of auctions a year. I love the sounds.

This one was on the corner of Beech and Kern, Osceola-ish.

Jennifer, we'll have to do the auction thing together. It is fun.
