So, thanks to Jesus for letting me know that now or very soon might be the time to go to the Art Institute if we want to see Hopper or Homer. Chris & I are tentatively planning on taking the South Shore up on May 7th. If you'd like to do a group outing thing, have the time, whatever, let me know and I'll try to coordinate it. Costs? About $21 for the train and about $20 for the special exhibit entry fee. We have to purchase the special exhibit tickets in advance, so let me know if you're interested soon. Whatever else you want to spend is up to you.
I know, I know, this is very close to the picnic. It can't be helped.

I don't know, I don't really do public transportation...not to mention, if I don't get a job, I will be pretty poor by early May.
Ah, come on. Riding the South Shore is half the fun. You'll have writing material for weeks.
I understand the $$ issue, but if you can swing it, this will be a lot of fun!
Oh, yes, certainly half the fun. Especially when you have a massive panic attack, freak out, and end up in a room with a single bulb and a folding chair being questioned under the Patriot Act (all very likely, I might add).
Does that mean you'll go?
Doubtful. Even though I'm super-desirous of being named a terrorist, I am, alas, too poor to leave my apartment until I get a freaking job.
Yours seems to be a common lament. We'll miss you.
Oooo that's a possibility! I would love to go but can't give you a definite yes yet.
I hope you can make it, Ann. This will be fun!
