I think they flock to San Pierre, IN too, don't they? That's here in my Starke Co.
I don't know, but if so, take Hadley, for goodness sake!
I know, but I think you have a couple weeks. That probably doesn't help, does it?
i was there (last year I think) with DDL it was truly gorgeous...you need a good zoom lens to get any pics though-- at least that was true last year. the birds tend to not get too terribly close to the observation deck. definately worth the trip--louise (mathias)
Louise, it's good to see you. DDL told me he had been out to see the cranes, so I assumed you had seen them, too. I'm going with my family and a couple of bird loving friends, getting up early to try and catch them at dawn. Unforunately, my digital camera doesn't have a zoom and I'm loathe to drag out the old 35 millimeter with film. It would take me a year to get the pics developed. So my digital shots probably won't be that great. But maybe. Thanks for stopping by again. My blog has been pretty boring lately, but maybe I'll get my act together and it will improve. Or not. I'm open to various eventualities. I was sorry when you shut yours down. You had some good things to say and you said them well.Take care.
