There's a purposeful walking
To the outskirts!
And thereafter
His simple insistence on sleeping
(Completely unadorned.)
I started this poem on Saturday, but I got distracted by the weather and gardening and birds and whatnot. I was going to finish it today, but incredibly sad news arrived this a.m. My Aunt Kathy took her life last night. I'll simply say that she was one of the kindest women I've ever known and I'm heartbroken.

my condolences, Charmi.
So sorry to hear that news. You have my sympathy.
I'm so sorry, Charmi. Is there anything I can do?
Thanks, everyone. I wish there was something to be done, but there isn't.
My family lost someone this way as well, a few years ago. It's not the kind of thing a person can make sense of.
I'm sorry for your loss, Charmi.
Thanks, Mark. I'm sorry to hear this has happened to you, also.
No one in my family is particularly asking why, but still the loss is tremendous.
Very sorry to hear this.
All the best.
Charmi, I am sorry to hear the news also... Peace, nf.
My sorrow is expressed.
Thanks so much, everyone. It means a lot to me.
I'm so sorry. I like to think that when one life ends there was a baby born somewhere with them inside. Wierd, but it's my way of dealing.
