Jojo's Roses

Baby, it's not just cold, it's 25 degrees outside!
There's a fabulous frost across Michiana.
I'm thinking about buying firewood.
Nine more days until we pick up Jojo from Chicago.
Gotta buy wood!

The roses are beautiful. It is always happy to meet family after long and long time :)

Jojo's rose bush kept blooming and blooming this year. It was amazing! And yes, I can't wait to see her!

oh, I hope Amelia has a green thumb so I can always look at "Amelia's" plant! How sweet!

And yes, I've been on Brad to get pellets for the stove for over a month now.

I bet she will!

Jojo bugged me for a long time for the roses. Her dream is to have a house with an English cottage garden. Fun!

I think we're going to go with GREN logs this year. They sell them in Shipshe. They're made from 100% recycled sawdust. It's one of those new green industries. I like them a lot.

BTW, we didn't do maple sugar last spring, but next spring we are. We'll let you know!!

yes, and what about brewing beer??? I'm not pregnant this year!

we also found a place out of white pigeon that makes pellets out of recycled wood products.

wait a minute, I just realized you said she "bugged you for a long time." You were stifling her green thumb? Tsk tsk tsk!

Absolutely! Tom is doing all the beer brewing right now, but he's getting pretty good. He's going to use some of the maple syrup in the beer, in fact.

Jesus is doing the beer making thing, too.

We just have a wood stove, so we can't use the pellets. But I really like the idea of less mess and recycled!

Well, I wasn't stifling, per se. I just had to completely clean out a flower bed where she wanted to put them. I was procrastinating.
