Dreamscape

I dreamed last night that Gene and I had another baby, easy delivery, right at home, in our own bed. Then the first thing this baby did was learn to use the cell phone. I'm not sure what my subconscious is trying to tell me, but whatever it is, it doesn't seem good. Perhaps I need to check online to see my real children's cell phone usage this month.

Maybe it's the empty nest syndrome setting in with the thought of Jojo going off to college and you hoping she'll call home often.

Odd dream. I used to have a recurring one with an owl and a green door.

Who knows?

The owl and the green door sounds fascinating. I've had owl dreams, too, really vivid ones.

YIKES. That's horrible.

Yes, my baby-making days are quite over. Quite.

I found some stuff on the wonderful web for you to consider:

To dream of giving birth or see someone else giving birth, suggests that you are giving birth to a new idea or project. It also represents a new attitude, fresh beginnings or a major upcoming event. Alternatively, the dream may be calling attention to your inner child and the potential for your to grow. A more direct interpretation of this dream, may represent your desires/ anxieties of giving birth or the anticipation for such an event to occur.

And apparently, cell phone is in this dream dictionary as well: To see or use a cell phone in your dream, indicates that you are being receptive to new information. It also represents your mobility.

Thanks, Talia! I use the Dream Dictionary a lot, so I knew all about babies, but the cell phone thing was new to me.

"I'm receptive to new information." Hmm. I wonder what new information is out there for me to receive.

Great seeing you last night, and as usual, too short.

Wow, the last baby dream I had was when I was preggo with Amelia. I put him down at an estate sale and when Brad and I left we were each like, "I thought you had him." The baby also had snaggle teeth. Does that mean anything?

The dream dictionary says rotten teeth indicates jeopardy, but snaggle teeth? I don't know.

Maybe you're forgetting something important.

maybe it was all that talk about turkey basters the other day?

We should look up turkey basters in the dream dictionary ;-)

At least the baby wasn't texting yet on the cell phone!
